OkMap Mobile is a user-friendly application that offers functionality akin to leading GPS handheld devices. Users can plan routes, with OkMap calculating elevation changes, travel times, and generating statistics and graphics. The app includes a compass to indicate direction and alerts users when they veer off course.
Primarily tailored for outdoor enthusiasts engaging in activities such as search and rescue, hiking, biking, boating, flying, hunting, fishing, geocaching, and more, OkMap supports various online maps as well as offline custom maps in MbTiles format. Users have the flexibility to utilize both acquired and scanned digital maps of their choice.
Additionally, OkMap seamlessly integrates GPX files - the standard format for storing waypoints, tracks, and routes - allowing for easy transfer of data between the app and PC using a cable or Google Drive. The app enables real-time track recording, editing of waypoints directly on the map, generation of statistics and graphs based on user tracks.
